Given the very low carbon footprint per individual pair of shoes (typically <0.05 kgCO₂e/pair), reporting on a per-unit basis results in values that are too small to communicate meaningfully. To support clearer decision-making and benchmarking, we report carbon intensity per 10,000 pairs purchased for relevance and scalability of our intensity metrics reporting. This approach is widely used in high-volume product categories and provides more actionable insight for our targets
